Help needed for mouthing/biting 9 week old lab

Hi everyone, I am new to this site, so forgive me if this topic has already been addressed. We have had our lab puppy for a week, she is now 9 weeks old. In most ways she has been responding wonderfully to preliminary training. She comes when called, sits on command, basic leash work has begun and progressing well. However, I can't seem to discourage her from thinking it's ok to mouth me and sometimes bite me pretty hard. It's all done in play. I admit we have been playing tug of war with her and I just read that should stop. So we will stop that type of play, and hopefully it will help, but in the meantime does anyone have any more advice. I especially need to know how to get her to release once she has a firm hold of my hand, finger, arm etc.  And then what method we should use to correct her immediately. Currently when I do get my hand free she thinks it is all part of the play and goes after me again. Luckily right now it is only me (Mom), but we have kids too (10 & 13) and all their friends, so nipping this in the bud is essential. Thank you!
