Engagement games

One of the things the behaviourist has me doing with him is getting him to engage with me appropriatly. I tether him and we play tug and work with out. Also teaching fetch by tossing the ball just to his side again working with out on return. Part of the process is that if he starts to engage inappropriatly I step out until he offers an appropriate behaviour such as sit, down or settle then is rewarded. Any other games I can play with him to work on engagement? He is learning that I start and stop the games and learning self control when stimulated.
