"Father of Peace"

As most of you know, I lost Dill when he got out last spring and never came back. He was a sweet, sensitive soul and he was named after a sweet, sensitive character in my favorite book.

I was determined to give my next kitten a bad-ass name and hope that he would be a bad-ass kitten. Well, Axel's a bad-ass, all right, but his name means "father of peace". I didn't look up the meaning when I was choosing a name.

Doesn't "Axel" just sound so much more bad-ass than that?
