How do I include a photo in a post?

We LOVE to see photos here at MSP! And posting photos is easy. There are two ways you can do it:

1. You can add photos directly from your computer as attachments.

2. You can add photos from a web site, such as Photobucket.

When you attach photos, they will appear at the bottom of your post. When you add photos from a web site, they can be inserted anywhere in the post.

Attaching a photo that's on your computer

Attached photos cannot exceed 256 kbs. So make sure your photos are sized properly before attaching.

Click the Choose File button near the bottom of the New Post screen:

Navigate to and select the photo you'd like to upload. You'll see the file name appear next to the Choose File button:

Click the Add the file button:

If the photo is too big, you'll see this message at the top of the post:

After you've attached a photo, repeat this process to add another photo. You can attach up to three photos.

When you are done, click the Preview button at the bottom of the screen to see your post, or click the Submit button to submit your post.

Adding a photo that's on a web site (for example, Photobucket)

First, locate the picture on the web site, and copy the URL.

As you are writing your post, put your cursor in the spot where you'd like to insert the photo and click the Img button:

You'll see two sets of brackets appear in the post. Your cursor will already be between the two brackets, in the spot indicated here:

Paste the url between the two brackets.

Finish writing your post and inserting more pictures if you like.

When you are finished, click the Preview button to look at your post, or click the Submit button to submit your post.
