Ok the head lice were icky and a pain. But after a few weeks we're on top of that pretty well and that's a pretty normal thing for households with school-age kids everywhere.
The tick larvae attack was un-nerving. Dang I hate those things. I don't care how ugly it gets, I am not weeding around the outside of the garage ever again. Got some good pesticide soap and I think I fried them.
The constant mosquito barrage is frustrating but it's normal this time of year. And if dengue can keep out of the town I will suffer itchiness with no complaints. (Our neighbor got dengue a few years back.) I can now catch them in the air and kill them with my bare hands without a thought. I am a kung-fu master...
But I will never get used to giving the whole family the bi-annual de-wormer. And FYI, that stuff tastes *nasty*. (Hopefully this will end my youngest's recent tummyaches. :()
After this past month I don't think I'm capable of getting grossed out anymore! At this point I'm ready for us all to go on Frontine.... And I am really getting interested in all of these beasties for whom we can be an eco-system. They're pretty cool actually. Really really irritating, but cool!
I wonder when the bedbugs will end up attacking us down here!
