Indoor Fence Recommendation? 2nd baby related question....

Sterle just stole two of DD''s bibs and one of her blocks off of the table and chewed them!

Time to (re)teach him that the table is off limits.

I'd like to try an indoor fence, but they all seem to be a round thing that you put in place and the zap zone is in a circle around it. Our dining room is small, and I don't want any part of it to be off limits but the rectangular table, so I don't think a circular zone is the best thing for that room. Are there any that use actual wire that you can put around the object you want them to avoid?
