Just when I thought I knew my dog...

I had a client drop a project off at the house this morning. Scout was out back, so she brought her two little dogs in. They we very sweet by the way, two little tails going a mile a minute. We let them loose to pal around while we talked. The investigated Scout's bed, carried a couple toys around and just played around a bit. Scout is always either crated or outside when clients are here and she has a little sniffing routine she does when they leave tracking them back and forth from the door to the table. The whole time the little dogs were loose in the house I was thinking that this would make Scout's day and she'd get several minutes of good sniffing out of it and she'd need to retrace their steps and check out her toys.

So client leaves and I let Scout in. She sniffs back and forth from the door to the table like usual and gives an extra sniff to the rug. That's it, she didn't even check out her bowls which I know the little ones licked. 30 seconds later she is on her bed with a nylabone like there was nothing interesting in the house at all. :roll:
