Dad: Hey Honey. Marie at the store has a sick dog and needs you to take care of it, or whatever (note: until this conversation, my dad has never said "or whatever" a day in his life) and Brown and Company will pay for it.
 
Me: You mean she wants me to take her dog to get euthanized???!!!!
 
Dad: NO! No. No. No. No! Not euthanized! Take care of its needs.
