LOVING Alaska!!!-- Updated with link to bus trip on a high, narrow road

Mountains, snow (deep snow!), hiking, birding (so many new birds!), whales, and so much more...

I've been out hiking and/or birding almost all day every day and am just popping in here to say hi and say that this is my favorite place I have ever been. Alaska has been on the top of my list of places to visit for years, and I can hardly believe I am really here. It is like being in a dream that turns out over and over again to be real. :)

Here on my blog I am posting a few photos, a few sketches, and some description and thoughts about what we're doing. So far I've posted about the first few days and will be adding to it most days.
