We believe in diversity of approach and opinion because one size never fits all.

We believe in experience and shared wisdom. Our community represents centuries of combined dog knowledge. We've been managing an online community successfully and peacefully since 2000.

My name is Sarah Wilson. I have been a professional dog trainer for over 25 years and hold a Master’s degree in the human-animal bond. My first book, published in 1992, has sold more than 360,000 copies. Seven more followed. Books of mine have be translated into Japanese, German, Italian, and Polish, and three have made Amazon’s Top 100 list. The top-selling My Smart Puppy (book with a DVD included) and Childproofing Your Dog are the guides for this website.

I have appeared on a variety of network and cable TV shows including PBS's Nature "Why We Love Cats and Dogs," Good Morning America, Nick Jr's A Pup Grows Up, Comcast, New England Cable News and have been quoted in/written for O Magazine, Parade, LA Times, Forbes.com, PBS.org, Amazon.com to name a few.

Most importantly, we LOVE dogs and we love helping people communicate with them more easily.
