With more than 40 years of combined dog training experience, Brian and Sarah have helped countless people with every sort of puppy and dog problems. Brian and Sarah have written seven training books together, the most recent being My Smart Puppy - a book with a DVD incuded.
Brian Kilcommons is the only North American to have studied with the legendary dog trainer Barbara Woodhouse of Great Britain. From mentor to friend, Barbara Woodhouse left an indelible impression upon Brian; one that brought heightened awareness to the importance of fair training techniques, great patience, and an understanding of the world from the pet's point of view. Brian has been featured on 20/20, CBS This Morning, Good Morning America, QVC, HGTV, The Oprah Winfrey Show, A&E "Dogs", The Today Show, ABC Weekend News, CNN (global), Prime Time Live, The Wall Street Journal Report, PBS Gentle Doctor: Veterinary Medicine, and he hosted FNC Pet News. He has also served as the CBS Morning News Investigative Reporter and Animal Expert on WABC Eyewitness News, Channel 7
Sarah’s passion is teaching people how to communicate with their dogs and cats. A popular speaker, she has taught at Tufts-Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, American Council of the Blind, Pet Sitters International, International Association of Canine Professionals, The Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers, Puppyworks, The ASPCA, Groomers Expo, and many more. She has written for or been quoted in O Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Chicago Tribune, Dogs in Canada, Cosmopolitan magazine, Veterinary Trends, Pet Health, W, New York Newsday, Parenting, Dog World, Dog Fancy, to name a few. Since 2000, she has run one of the most active Internet boards on dog training and care, fielding tens of thousands of questions.
Brian and Sarah share their lives with five dogs, two horses, one pony and a wonderful cat named Ben in Southern, New Hampshire.
